Engaging in climbing and mountaineering entails inherent risks, including the potential for personal injury or fatality. Individuals participating in these activities are advised to conscientiously acknowledge and assume these risks, while exercising responsibility for their own actions.

Medical Disclosure Acknowledgement

For your safety and the safety of others, it is essential that you fully and truthfully disclose any medical conditions, injuries, medications, allergies, or other health-related issues that may affect your ability to participate in activities with Inspired Guides. Accurate medical information allows our guides to plan appropriately, manage risk effectively, and respond correctly in the event of an emergency. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase the risk of injury to yourself or others and may limit our ability to provide appropriate support.

Cancellation by Inspired Guides:

1.1  In the unlikely event we have to cancel a course, we will notify you of the cancellation as soon as possible where we believe there are reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and / or unsuitable conditions for the course activity.

1.2  Upon cancellation the client will be offered the option to reschedule the course or receive a full refund.

1.3 Inspired Guides are not liable for any extra costs incurred such as travel or accommodation related expenses.

Cancellation by Client:

1.4  Inspired Guides will only accept booking cancellations submitted in writing or via email. Inspired Guides will confirm your cancellation in writing or via email once it has been received.

1.5  Period before course date within which notice of cancellation by you is received. Amount of cancellation has been received:
-30 days or more= Loss of deposit.
-29 – 14 days= 80% of course cost.
-Less than 14 days= 100% of course cost.

Insurance and loss:

1.6 Inspired Guides hold full Public Liability Insurance, but we would advise you to take out your own Personal Accident / Cancellation Insurance. If you already have insurance, check that it covers you for the activity that you are undertaking. We do not include any personal accident, cancellation, third party liability or personal insurance. We will accept no responsibility whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property.

Is it safe?

1.7 British Mountaineering Council Participation Statement the BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of, and accept these risks and be responsible for their own involvement.

1.8 By booking a course you are aware and accept these risks and will be responsible for your own actions & involvement. We will teach you how to manage these, but can never completely remove them.
