The Owner - Jack’s Story

I come from the South of Wales, close to the beautiful Brecon Beacons. I started my early career by volunteering at the local dry ski slope in order to get a ski pass as a teenager. Soon, outdoor instruction turned into a full-time career for me and I have spent the last 10 years specialising in climbing, scrambling and hill walking instruction in the UK and abroad. Along the way I earned the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor qualification and founded my business, Inspired Guides. Currently, I am training on the British Mountain Guide Scheme to hopefully qualify as an International Mountain Guide and to be able to share my passion of the outdoors worldwide. I aspire to provide safe, exciting and educational adventures for all types of clients, be it skiing, climbing or mountaineering. I look forward to connecting in the mountains with you soon.

What we can do for you?

Highly Qualified and Experienced Instructors - Our instructors have spent years working in the outdoor industry, working with a wide range of clients in mountainous terrain throughout the UK and abroad. All our instructors hold internationally recognised climbing and first aid qualifications from the appropriate accrediting bodies.

Bespoke Courses - Our courses can be designed to fit your individual needs! Get in touch with your ideas or goals and we can try to fulfil them for you. To see some ideas of what we offer, head over to our courses and guiding pages.

A Personal Experience - All of our courses have small ratios, meaning your instructor will have lots of opportunity to help you reach your full potential based on your individual strengths and weaknesses.

We are Climbers - All of our instructors are very keen climbers, spending our free time out on the rock, snow and ice. Exploring the mountains is our passion and through working as outdoor professionals we get to share it with you!
