Our two day advanced scrambling courses are a great intermediate between unroped scrambling and rock climbing. We will cover the skills needed to look after yourself and your partner independently with a rope and gear on grade 2/3 scrambles. This is a great introduction to the ropework required to safely go summer alpine climbing.

- Movement skills
- Taking coils
- Belaying from above (Italian hitch, off of harness)
- Removing gear
- Understanding guidebooks and grading systems
- Emergency procedures.

For anyone who has completed our Discover Scrambling Course or Mountaineering Intro. Confident grade 1 scramblers looking to tackle harder scrambles independently. Rock climbers looking to learn alpine rope work.
