Our two-day Advanced Scrambling course provides a great intermediate between unroped scrambling and rock climbing. We will cover the skills needed to look after yourself and your partner independently with a rope and gear on grade II/III scrambles. Our expert instruction will assure you learn the essential techniques and considerations to confidently plan and climb your next objective. If you have been wanting to tackle classics like Cneifion Arete or Pinnacle Ridge in the Ogwen Valley, want to venture to distant Scottish peaks and abroad, this course is for you. A great introduction to the ropework required to safely and successfully go summer alpine climbing.

- Belaying from above (Italian hitch, off of harness)

- Understanding guidebooks and grading systems

For anyone who has completed our Discover Scrambling Course or Mountaineering Intro. Confident grade 1 scramblers looking to tackle harder scrambles independently. Rock climbers looking to learn alpine rope work.
