Join our two-day Mont Blanc training course in Snowdonia, North Wales — designed to enhance your preparation for Mont Blanc and assess your current fitness level. Led by British Mountain Guides who have vast alpine climbing experience, the course offers expert, personalised feedback on your training progress. You'll gain clear insights into your strengths and receive targeted advice to address any areas needing improvement before heading to the Alps.
Day 1 - A large day in the mountains getting a feel for what’s involved in climbing Mont Blanc. Moderate scrambling terrain focusing on moving quickly and efficiently, while answering any questions regarding Mont Blanc.
Day 2 - An introduction to using a rope and climbing harness, followed by training in small teams on how to move together while roped up on challenging terrain — similar to what you’ll encounter on Mont Blanc’s technical sections. You'll also learn how to descend efficiently and safely on steep, scrambling terrain while staying roped up. We will finish with individual feedback.
